Giorgiana Wegener

Giorgiana Wegener joined Infracapital in 2022 from InfraRed where, over the past eight years, she was responsible for the management of a number of social infrastructure and renewables assets within the InfraRed portfolio. Giorgiana held non-executive board director positions on many projects in the InfraRed portfolio. Prior to this role, Giorgiana worked for 6 years with EISER Infrastructure Fund where she was responsible for managing a number of European utilities, transport and social infrastructure assets in the EISER portfolio. Giorgiana has over 15 years of industry experience.
In her earlier career Giorgiana was a consultant in the executive compensation team of Willis Towers Watson, worked in the transaction team of Capital SA, a private equity boutique as well as a teaching assistant with London School of Economics.
Giorgiana holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics. She also holds an Investment Management Certificate.
