Wael Elkhouly
Head of Asset Management
Wael joined Infracapital in 2019 and has over 25 years’ experience in developing, acquiring and owning infrastructure assets globally.
Wael started his career with Bechtel where he spent more than 12 years developing, financing and managing infrastructure assets globally. Following which, Wael spent 5 years as a key member of Citi investment banking team advising investors on acquiring and financing European infrastructure assets.
Most recently Wael joined from Bastion Infrastructure Group where he was Partner & Head of Asset Management, building an investment management platform and working with key institutional investors to deploy capital and manage infrastructure assets globally. Prior to his role at Bastion, Wael was Head of Asset Management at EISER Infrastructure Fund where he was responsible for leading the asset management team overseeing a portfolio of European utilities, transport and social infrastructure assets.
Wael has a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University, a post-graduate diploma in Project Management from the American University as well as an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
