Ed Clarke

Ed Clarke co founded Infracapital, the infrastructure private equity arm of M&G, in 2001 with Martin Lennon, and has over 35 years' of infrastructure, project finance and investment experience.
He has worked on over 60 investments at Infracapital including public to privates, bilaterals, auctions, exits and restructurings.
Ed’s role encompasses all aspects of the fund, from strategising to capital formation, to transactions and asset management and fund administration.
Prior to Infracapital, Ed worked at Societe Generale where he was responsible for structuring and arranging capital markets issues to fund infrastructure projects.
Before this, Ed was a leading member of the Hambros Bank infrastructure advisory team where he also set up their infrastructure advisory business in South Africa.
Ed started his career at Hambros in their corporate finance team after graduating from the University of Edinburgh.
