Infracapital Strengthens Team with New Appointments

- Four new appointments across the business
- Reflects continued strong growth of Greenfield and Brownfield strategies
Infracapital, the infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G Plc, is pleased to announce four new appointments.
Lorenzo Cannizzo joins the business as a Director in the Asset Management Team. He brings significant asset management experience, most recently at 3i Infrastructure Plc where he was responsible for managing the fund’s portfolio investments across Continental Europe, including transport, utilities and social infrastructure assets.
To support the continued growth of its Greenfield strategy, Infracapital is pleased to announce the appointment of Iris Ivkovic as Associate Director in its Greenfield Transaction Team. Iris joins from Macquarie Capital, where she was Vice President, responsible for principal investments in the green energy and infrastructure space.
Infracapital has further strengthened its broader Transaction Team with the appointment of Adam Spencer as an Associate Director in the Financing and Hedging Team. Prior to joining Infracapital, Adam spent six years on the M&G Project and Infrastructure Finance Team in London, during which he was responsible for structuring new private debt transactions across a range of sectors with particular focus transport, power generation and transmission, PPP and student accommodation.
Luigi Dipietro has also joined Infracapital as an Associate in the Brownfield Transaction Team, from Deutsche Bank where he worked in the Infrastructure & Utilities, and Natural Resources Investment Banking teams.
These appointments and further hires targeted for early next year follow a period of strong growth across the business, highlighting Infracapital’s continued momentum as it focuses on opportunities for investment in essential infrastructure assets across Europe, while delivering sustainable and attractive value for investors.

Lorenzo Cannizzo – Director, Asset Management Team
Lorenzo joins Infracapital from 3i Infrastructure Plc. Prior to this Lorenzo spent three years at EISER Infrastructure Limited as an Asset Manager covering Italy and Spain managing investments in the transport, utilities and renewables space.
Lorenzo holds an MBA from London Business School and a Masters in Economics and Business Management from Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome. He also holds the CFA designation.
Iris Ivkovic - Associate Director, Greenfield Team
Prior to joining Infracapital , Iris was responsible for bids and asset management of renewable energy projects within the Green Investment Group at Macquarie Capital.
Iris has a Master of Science degree in Business Administration with a double specialisation in Accounting and Control as well as Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Adam Spencer – Financing and Hedging Associate Director, Transaction Team
Adam joins Infracapital from M&G’s Project and Infrastructure Finance Team in London.
Adam holds a Master of Science in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from University College London and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Exeter.
Luigi Dipietro – Associate, Transaction Team
Prior to joining Infracapital, Luigi worked in both the Infrastructure & Utilities and Natural Resources Investment Banking teams at Deutsche Bank in London and at Fante, M&A and corporate finance advisory firm in Milan.
Luigi holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance, both from Bocconi University, Milan.
